Income and Expense Report
We’ve redesigned our annual income and expense report. On the chart, you can quickly see your earnings, spending, and net income for each month in a year. Below, there’s a table showing your income and expenses in each category for each month. If you click on a number, a list of transactions will open showing transactions for that month in that category. This is a great way to quickly analyze your income and expenses for the whole year.

We’re implemented an alert that warns you about unreviewed or uncategorized transactions. If you click the alert, we’ll display the transactions that need your attention so that you can quickly review and/or categorize them.

Split transactions
We’ll create a feature that will let you split a transaction between different categories. Example: you go to a supermarket and buy groceries and a frying pan. You pay for it all together, so there’s one transaction in your card statement. You’ll be able to correctly split that transaction into your “Groceries” and “Home supplies” categories.

Correctly categorize refunds and reimbursements
We need the ability to assign refunds or reimbursements back to the original expense category. For example, if you book a hotel, then cancel and get a refund, the incoming transaction should be categorized as Travel and not as Income. Another example: you eat out with a friend, pay for both of you, and your friend then sends you their share via Venmo. We need to categorize this Venmo transaction as Eating out, even though it is an income transaction.
